Penn Foster is a rip off and scam, I was a student there and was accused of cheating on an essay in writing.I couldnt have cheated when its about my own life.
this was done to make more money and scam more money out of me as their student it was a high school course. lol i recently went to get a GED and passed with flying colors, plus it was only 100 bucks.
the GED is good anywhere and will get you in any college Penn Foster will not ! the reason being is that its designed to fail students and get more money out of them not actually help them and pass them I once asked them do you have pell grants or loans the rude teacher there said well yes we will take them if they are made out to us.
this is not a school it is a scam paying off the right people to operate this is more than likely the reason they are now ashworth or related with them, dont go there save your time and money and go get a GED.
as for the ones that make nasty comments about others this is called pissed consumer for a reason and cannot be in any way of real student, I believe its just workers there that are a penn foster gopher or flunkie .
Ive also warned them dont call my house again in the middle of the night we all have a right to quit and for *** good reason to before we get taken for more money, the way i see it is i got out cheap ..
I am most happy with my GED and i think these people need to be sued they break their contracts too with the students when they try and suck them dry of more money, failing to tell you that if you fail one of thier dumb courses they charge an extra 50 dollars .
I would also like to add that they cannot do anythign to me other than keep lying this is all ive heard for about 3 years now is that they are coming after me.. well come on the fight is on and penn foster will lose.
I am also from the south born and raised here and *** proud of it I dont like them slandering me saying southern people cant read or write when i could call for help there. they talk about us being prejudice .. now look at who really is.. this is unprofessional and un acceptable for a school
I am not going to take anymore of the threats they hand out to me.. if you are smart you will just go to a local community college . they will help you for free. they tell people that a high school diploma is better ..but actually its not when you plan to go to college
you have the GED to go and thats not going to matter when you have became a professional in what you want to achieve .
I dont like being talked down too and certainly will not tolerate anyone telling me i am a cheater they never give you an answer because they dont know it themselves its doubtful any of them in there have a GED themselves.
I also dont approve of my papers getting shipped out to everyones houses to get graded rather than a real teacher. teachers dont grade these papers as they send them out to everyone that works there and from my understanding its very few. but these ppl are very good at what they do
they are con artists and they can lie well to sell their packages that arent worth the papers its written on .. especially when it is designed to fail you and to keep you locked in there for a few years just to make a dime off you . youre better than that if you want somethng in life

What attracted me was the cost of tuition but it is definitely not worth it!!! I haven't learned ***! They give you ridiculous material to read & expect for you to test. No interaction with professors or students what so ever. When you pass their easy exams they send you an automatically generated email saying good job. I been to online schools & this has to be the worst!!! I should have just paid the money for a better school. I really haven't learned anything I actually feel dumber. Not recommended |

Written by Igot what i paid for a great E on May 10, 2011 from holland, michigan, US let me tell you i Originally , was going to go through Everest Medical School i found them so uncaring!!when i had fallen ill!!Thank god for Penn Foster letting me get a education while recovering from an very serious illness...I had finished in only seven months and on my way to a great career working with children!!!!I am so proud of Penn Foster and the many courses they offer!! |
